Femme Fatale Pins: The Wait is Over (And the Pins Are Worth It!!)

Hello everyone!!

This is the update we've all been waiting for!! 😻🥳 I know you've all been patiently waiting for your Femme Fatale enamel pins to arrive, and I'm so happy to finally announce that the very last box of pins just arrived today to my house!!




My sincerest apologies for for the delay! There were a few unforeseen delays that slowed down production. First, matching the enamel pin colors to the exact Pantone colors was more complex than anticipated. If you didn't know this about enamel pin production, each color is hand-mixed to match the chosen Pantone color. When my manufacturer sent me production pictures, some of the colors looked different in the pictures than what I chose. After some back and forth emailing, it turns out the camera used to take the picture was just a little off in the color balance. My manufacturer assured me the colors were correct in person and offered to mail the samples so I could double check them in person. Once the samples arrived I was so happy the colors looked absolutely perfect!

Second, there were some delays because not only was I ordering my enamel pin designs, but I also ordered my campaign partner Allison's pins together in one huge double order. Had it just been my pins, production would have been finished a bit sooner. Allison and I wanted to assure that the quality was going to be the same with both of our pins being released together as a set, so we did not want to rush my manufacturer at all and it affect the quality. The most important thing we asked from our manufacturer was to prioritze quality over speed, and so far after checking these pins out we could not be happier with the final product!! 😻 Take a look at Allison's amazing pins!!




Third, sticker production has taken a bit longer than expected due to our sticker manufacturer being out of office at the end of last month/beginning of this month for his convention season. We didn't receive a response about the sticker order until they returned last week. A while ago, I already ordered a handful of stickers to be ready to package with the first batch of enamel pins. The only hiccup I ran into with the sticker order is that the holo effect on the freebie snake stickers wasn't quite right. My file wasn't formatted properly to make the outside edges of the snake holographic, so the last thing we are now waiting on is the remake of some of the freebie holo stickers!

We've been receiving small shipments of the enamel pins throughout the month as they've been completed, and the final box just arrived today! We can now officially announce that grading and packaging will begin as soon as we receive the replacement holo snake stickers 🐍💖✨ During this wait, we've been diligently working on ordering the other merchandise including sticker books, keychains, Medusa wooden pin boards, additional stickers, etc.

The last announcement I have is about the Harpy pin! During the Pantone color picking process, it was very hard to match the intense blue colors I originally chose for the Harpy design. After some re-working, I decided to add purple/gradient to create a more cohesive look within the Femme Fatale collection and ensure all colors of the rainbow are represented with these pins! 🏳️‍🌈 (Thank you to the person who suggested adding purple in the collection <3)

I absolutely cannot wait until you receive your Femme Fatale merch in the mail soon 💌 I'll be making another update when the first batch of shipments gets mailed out :) If you still haven't filled out your survey or complete your shipping details there is still time to do so!! I'll be announcing a date that I will be charging the rest of the cards for shipping/failed orders, so keep an eye out for my next update

Great news is that Surveys are about 85% complete!! Thank you everyone for filling out your surveys so quickly! ➡️ If you haven't filled yours out yet you have until this Friday, June 28th to do so!! I can't mail your items/rewards to you unless you complete the survey!! 💌

Currently, there are 45 backers that haven't filled out their surveys yet! Out of those 45 backers, 16 had failed payments after the campaign ended. So please fill out your surveys ASAP to correct any failed payments and pay for your shipping!

Survey Smoke Test sent + Harpy/Egyptian Goddess Nut pin reveal! 🎉

Hey everyone, I got some great news in this update! Surveys have finally been approved and the Smoke Tests have been sent out! :) 🎉
 


A "Smoke Test" is where a small batch of surveys have been sent out to test that all the surveys are free from any errors myself or the Backerkit team may have missed. If you see the survey in your inbox, please fill it out as soon as possible so we can get the rest of the surveys sent out! If you catch any errors, please let me know here so we can try to fix it.

You may have noticed that the Smoke Tests weren't sent out last week, there were a lot more errors on the back end than I thought there were when I sent the surveys out to Backerkit for approval. It took a bit of back and forth emailing with the Backerkit team to make sure everything was 100% error-free before releasing all the surveys, so now we are all approved and ready to go! 😃👍🏼 

After the batch of Smoke Tests are mostly filled out, I'm going to release all the surveys ASAP to everyone else along with another update! If you didn't receive an email yet with your survey, soon you’ll receive an email from me with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can so I can get a final count of all the pins and add-ons needed. After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get the final counts. 

Now onto the big reveal for the Harpy and Egyptian Goddess Nut pins!! 🥁

Both pins will have a gunmetal finish like the rest of the Femme pins, I'm planning for the Harpy pin to be a slightly larger pin at 3" wide because of the wingspan. The Nut pin will also be slightly larger at 2.25" and will have a blue glitter background

As a reminder, you can upgrade your pledge level tier in your survey to the "I NEED ALL THEM FEMMES" pin tier or the "MY HEART IS NOW CONTENT" Medusa board + full pin set tier. These top 2 tiers include the 2 new Harpy and Egyptian Goddess Nut pins for free <3 Instructions on how to upgrade your pledge level in your survey can be found right here!

Hey everyone!

This is going to be a super quick update about the surveys to keep you all in the loop. I finalized all the surveys/add-on questions and submitted them over the weekend for Backerkit to review. I've been waiting for their approval and there are a few last minute things to tweak before they are ready for you to fill out!

I'm hoping to fix all the errors found in the surveys by tonight and have what's called the "Smoke Test" sent out shortly after that. A Smoke Test is when a small batch of surveys are sent out to catch any final errors missed by myself and the Backerkit team. Once the Smoke Test is complete, I will release all the surveys after that. I'll be sure to send another update when they are finally 100% released 🙌🏼 🎉 As far as the schedule goes, we are still on track for end of July shipment 🤗💌✅

I just wanted to fill you all in on what's going on so you can be ready to fill out your survey when I finally send them all out to your emails! Thank you all again so much for your patience and support during this campaign journey, it really means a lot!! We are almost at the end!! 🙏🏼💖
